Local residents and tourists are able to visit the Hainan Pavilion in Hainan Provincial Museum in Haikou, which has been greatly appreciated by a large number of Chinese and overseas tourists during 2010 Shanghai Expo, reports hainan.net.

The Hainan Pavilion, with its graceful appearance built with blue silk thread screen and 360° panoramic island life images played by large U-screen, has received a total of 7,000,000 visitors during its opening of 2010 Shanghai Expo. It is one of the most popular pavilions in Shanghai Expo.

The relocation of new pavilion has maintained its original style with an expansion area from 600 sq m to 800 sq m.

In order to further enrich its informative and entertaining concepts, the pavilion will also add several new exhibition areas including Wonderful World Expo Area, in which vivid pictures will be displayed to record the memorable moments of other countries and cities pavilions at 2010 Shanghai Expo.

The new pavilion in provincial museum will be one of the major attractions to fully display the Hainan culture.
