Hilton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort and Spa on February 1st launched a new signature dish, the China Harvest Peking Duck.
 
The newly released signature dish follows traditional cooking methods passed on from ancient times. For this new offering, China Harvest Restaurant invited a well-known chef from Beijing, who creates the dish by roasting the duck with jujube wood. 
 
As part of the new offering, the chef also demonstrates his slicing skills by quickly slicing 70 pieces of meat from each duck. The Peking Duck is roasted to perfection in a wood-fired oven, giving the tender creation crispy skin and juicy meat. Guests can enjoy the classical heritage flavors of Chinese cuisine by wrapping the duck meat with duck pancakes and sesame cakes, fresh onion, sweet sauce, and sugar.
 
The launch ceremony for the signature dish featured a traditional lion dance and a court dance. Mr. Andre Alex Gomez, Area General Manager for Hainan South, China, at Hilton Hotels Worldwide, and Mr. Sun Meng, Vice General Manager of Hilton Sanya Yalong Bay Resort and Spa jointly unveiled a calligraphy plaque for the China Harvest Peking Duck.
 
An auction for the first roasted China Harvest Peking Duck was held during the launch ceremony, and all proceeds were donated to the Blue Energy Committee to support public welfare within the community.
