Foreign investment in Hainan reaches $US458.08m in Jan-May, 2011
According to the latest figures released from Hainan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, foreign investment in the first five months of this year amounted to US 450.08 million dollar, 3.5 times that of the same period last year, reports xinhuenet.com.
Hainan has enjoyed rapid growth of foreign investment in the first five months of this year with its plan to build into an international tourism island.
From January to May, projects of foreign direct investment were mainly concentrated in the eastern cities like Sanya, Haikou, Lingshui and Wenchang.
