According to the national standards of ‘China Green Hotel’ issued by theNational Green Hotel Committee and China Hotel Association, there are 8 qualified hotels in Hainan that received the prestigious award of ‘China Green Hotel’, together with 13 hotels recognized as The Silver Leaf Grade ‘China Green Hotel’.
 
Apart from 3 newly awarded hotels this year, the rest of the China Green Hotels are Sanya Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Resort Sanya, Sheraton Sanya Resort Hotel,   Yalong Bay Villas & Spa and Kangle Garden HNA Spa & Golf Resort.
 
The award of ‘China Green Hotel’ is awarded for a hotel’s priorities on environmental conservation, green programs, food safety and hygiene, and energy efficiency in its long standing commitment to the environment.
