A new multi-destination tourism program between Hong kong and Hainan has been proposed at the 25th International Tourism Expo in Hong kong, reports xinhuenet.com.

 

Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), Liu Zhenhan, said Hong kong and Hainan, whose tourism resources are complementary to each other, will cooperate with each other to boost mutual international tourism as well as share experiments in the field.

 

Speaking of the soft environment tourism, Chen Tiejun, the Deputy Director of the Hainan Tourism Development Commission mentioned the simplification of immigration procedures and increase of visa-free countries. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Tax Refund policy and Duty-free policy for domestic tourists this year has become more attractive for many tourists.

 

During the tourism Expo Fair, the Hainan tourism promotion delegation highlighted the beauty of the tropical coastal resorts, its incredible natural places for eco-tourism, and fantastic golf courses.

 

In this regard, the two sides also reached an agreement to encourage local travel agencies to develop varied multi-destination products, which links between Hong kong and Hainan.
