Hainan Airlines offers return fares at $US3,500 for Sydney-Shenzhen route
Hainan Airlines, the newest Chinese carrier to serve Australia, has introduced return business class fares from $3500, including taxes, from Sydney to the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. The special fares are available immediately, for 12 months, subject to availability on the selected days of travel. They also include shuttle bus transfers from Shenzhen to nearby Hong Kong, a journey of less than one hour.
Hainan Airlines operates new, two class Airbus A330-200 aircraft on its two weekly flights from Sydney, departing every Tuesday and Sunday. The business class cabin on Hainan Airlines’ A330s accommodates 36 passengers, featuring six rows of seats which recline to fully-flat beds. Business class passengers on Hainan Airlines have use of the Malaysia Airlines lounge in Pier C at Sydney airport, and the airline’s own lounge in Shenzhen on the return journey.
