The Haikou government has approved the proposal of setting up 8 bus stations across the city, report hndnews.com.

With a total investment of 107 million yuan, the 8 bus stations will be divided into the 3 categories. They are comprehensive bus station, original and terminal station and junction station.

Among them, the junction station will be built near the major public transport hubs such as airport, train station.

According to the plan, the design of 8 bus stations can accommodate 760 parking lots, which will greatly ease the difficulty in getting place for bus parking as well as relieve the traffic congestion in Haikou.
