McLean-based Hilton Worldwide has signed three management agreements with New Huadu Industrial Group for three resort properties in China.

The resorts — Waldorf Astoria Hainan Baoting Resort, Hilton Hainan Baoting Resort and Hilton Changsha East — are scheduled to open before 2014. They will add another 930 hotel rooms to Hilton Worldwide’s fast-growing pipeline of hotels in China.

"Hilton Worldwide has had a longstanding presence in China since we opened Hilton Shanghai in 1988. Not only are we one of the fastest-growing hotel companies in terms of deals globally, we have a strong development pipeline in China,” said Christopher J. Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide.

The company has 17 hotels in operation and more than 70 properties in various stages of development in China. Hilton plans to have more than 100 operating hotels in five years.

Formed in 1997, New Huadu Industrial Group has a diversified business portfolio that includes mining, tourism, brewing, pharmaceuticals, information technology and real estate. It has more than 5,000 employees.

Waldorf Astoria Hainan Baoting Resort will have 100 villas while the Hilton Hainan Baoting Resort will have 350 rooms. Both will be 10 kilometers from the center of Baocheng Town on Hainan Island. The Hilton Changsha East, which will have 480 rooms, will be in Changsha in the Hunan province of south central China.
