Sanya issues low-altitude airspace restrictions for BRIC summit

To ensure the safety for the upcoming BRIC summit in Sanya, the Sanya municipal government has recently released a strict notice on the low-altitude space control in the Yalong Bay area and downtown area, reports xinhuanet.com.
From April 13 to 17, any low-altitude flying activities without official approval including powered parachutes, gliders, balloon flying, delta wings, light helicopters will be suspended within 200km areas from downtown center.
Besides, other sports and entertainment activities including hot air balloons, sky lanterns and advertising balloons are not allowed to conduct from April 10 to 20.
In Yalong Bay, all vessels within the area are required to be berthed near the east beach of the Holiday Inn Resort Yalong Bay, Underwater World or the Mangrove Reserve Pier Harbour before 8:00 on April 10th, 2011.
