Hainan Yedao Group (600238), maker of liquor and health wine products, recently announced it will enter the coconut milk industry, reports Securities Times.
 
At the 2011 China National Sugar and Alcoholic Commodities Fair held in Chengdu, Hainan Yedao received over 300 orders with total value exceeding 300 million yuan. Hainan Yedao will establish Hainan Yedao Ecological Agriculture Beverage Co., Ltd. this year to develop the coconut milk market.
 
The new company is expected to realize sales turnover of one billion yuan over the next three years.
