China’s southern Haikou city witnessed stable growth in foreign trade value with export growth rate reaching above 10% in fifteen consecutive months, according to the statistics by the Haikou Customs.
 
The city harvested gross foreign trade value of USD 1.88 billion in the first half, up 21.8% year on year. Among which, mechanical and electrical products represented by solar photovoltaic modules harvested export value of USD 220 million, a 1.4 times increase.
 
It is reported that the Kaikou Customs has designated one coordinator for each company to guide enterprises to conduct customs business since one new energy company was put into operation in Hainan province last year. In order to further promote the development of Haikou Comprehensive Bounded Zone, related person in the Haikou Customs expressed to provide better service for enterprises within the Zone by specially-assigned personnel. Meanwhile, the government will be actively involved in major investment projects.
