2018 China Rendez-Vous wraps up, lives up to expectations
The long-awaited 2018 China Rendez-Vous (December 7-10) came to an end after high public anticipation. Held at Visun Times Coast in Sanya, the ninth edition of the event attracted large crowds and a number of high-end exhibitors.
The four-day event featured an exhibition area of more than 18,000 square meters, including a water exhibition area of 8,000 square meters and a land exhibition area of more than 10,000 square meters.

Around 50,000 visitors entered the main fairgrounds, where the event’s yacht show and ultra-lifestyle exhibition are being held. About 1,600 of those visitors are targeted visitors and specially invited guests.
This year, a total of 72 exhibitors have brought 100 branded products to the show. Many acclaimed luxury yacht brands, including Westport, Kabe, Sessa, Beneteau, Galeon, Quicksilver, and Leopard, have appeared at the event, where they have showcased their super-luxury products. Meanwhile, luxury cars, luxury jewelers, and 60 other luxury lifestyle brands have had products on display at the fair.

The organizing committee also held a welcome dinner for the first time at the outdoor Visun Times Coast area. The welcome dinner showcased a variety of products and events related to arts, yachting, and golf—thereby showing off the diversity and richness of the China Rendez-Vous event.
One of the the highlights for this year’s event is the use of the virtual reality technologies which they recreate the existing museums online so that people from all over the world could visit the event from exactly where they are.
The annual China Rendez-Vous has become a draw card for Hainan’s MICE industry and an exchange platform between Hainan and the world. Meanwhile, the annual high-end lifestyle exhibition is playing an important role in Sanya’s MICE industry, tourism industry, real estate sector and yacht industry.
