China Airlines, the largest civil aviation company in Taiwan, is set to open a direct flight between Taipei and Haikou on October 30th amid the booming tourism economy between the two cities, reports xinhuanet.com.

The Taipei-Haikou direct flight will take off from 15:20 pm from Taipei every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and arrive in Haikou at 17:55 pm. The return flight will take off at 19:05 pm from Haikou and arrive at 21:02 in Taipei.

The launch of the flight shows the company is optimistic about the future of the air link between Haikou and Taipei, and will provide favorable policies for travelers in the two cities, said an insider.

China Airlines has flights throughout Asia, Oceania, Middle East, Europe and North America.
