Hainan Airlines to open new route between Zurich and Beijing from May 31
China’s fourth largest carrier, Hainan Airlines, says it will open a new service between Zurich and Beijing on May 31.
The airline will offer three round trips on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
This will be the Hainan’s fifth direct route to Europe.
Three link Beijing to Budapest, Brussels and Berlin, while another connects Shanghai to Brussels.

Starting July 7, Swiss and Edelweiss Air will also run a direct flight once a week between Zurich and Beijing.
