Haikou Railway Station is expected to see a rising passenger flow during the 62-day summer peak season which starts on July 1 and ends on August 31, reports china.com.
 
During the two-month period, local railway station is expected to handle at least 138,000 passengers, mainly college students on vacation, tourists and migrant workers.
 
With the launch of non-stop trains linking Haikou and Chengdu from July 1st, the dispatched passenger number is expected to higher than that of previous year.
 
To handle the student passenger rush, the station will launch additional ticket counters and offer extra ticket-purchasing time during the summer vacation period.
