On June 26th 2014, Renaissance Sanya Resort & Spa celebrated the third annual Global Day of Discovery, by inviting in-house travelers, local business partners and media reporters to step out guest rooms and create an impressive evening together. Travelers were encouraged to make time to discover the indigenous, intriguing and independent features of the property and the destination. Journey around the hotel was guided by Navigators, while guests took the opportunities to explore and discover the unique resort activities as well as the original Hainan cuisines.

Gathered in Starfish Market, the signature dining venue of the hotel, guests were invited to discover the most genuine seafood and local cuisine of Sanya, followed by an after-party, with local uprising band playing live music by the pool side of Starfish Bar, exploration continued with Q&A activities, inspiring guests to find more interesting items of the hotel. Exclusively prepared cocktails were served in that evening with the inspirations of local fruits and herbs helped to create unforgettable moments and inscribe fascinating memories.
