Hainan East Ring Railway unveils new schedule for bullet trains
A new operating schedule for the Hainan East Ring Railway will take effect at midnight of April 3, 2014.
According to railway authorities, there are 30 pairs of bullet trains serving the railway altogether. 24 pairs of trains run from Sanya Railway Station to Haikou East Railway Station, while 6 pairs run from Sanya Railway Station to Haikou Railway Station.
Normally, 26 pairs of bullet trains are arranged to hit the tracks every day including 20 pairs running between Sanya Railway Station and Haikou East Railway Station and 6 pairs between Sanya Railway Station and Haikou Railway Station.
Adjustments have also been made to some bullet trains, such as train D7338, to shorten its wait time and stops for a fuller use of transport capacity and further improve service quality.
During the new bullet train operation, 6 pairs are being launched to run from Sanya Railway Station to Haikou Railway Station. The timetable for departures from Sanya are set at 7:55 am, 1:25 pm and 3:52 pm, 4:15 pm, 4:25 pm and 6:55 pm.
