The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort kicks off the Asia Pacific rollout of Westin Hotels & Resorts’ ‘runWESTIN™. Work Out. Do Good.’ charity drive in Asia Pacific, a charitable endeavor that encourages guests to keep fit, walking or running for a good cause.

From now until 30 April 2014, The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort will donate a pair of New Balance shoes to Zhejiang Xinhua Compassion Education Foundation, for every 20 guests who lend New Balance gear or use runWESTIN running route map. Participating guests will also be invited to write a personalized message to the donation beneficiaries, and be eligible to win New Balance running shoes.

For just a nominal fee, guests can borrow New Balance running shoes with disposable insoles, as well as a variety of New Balance apparel, including shorts, shirts and socks. In addition, the program extends to the provision of a 5-8km running route map, so guests can combine their workout routine with fresh air and local scenery.

“We are delighted to launch the ‘runWESTIN. Work Out. Do Good.’ campaign at The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort, offering a holistic fitness solution designed for travelers to leave the hotel feeling better than when they first arrived,” said Mr. Raetus Balzer, General Manager of The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort. “In addition, the campaign provides guests with opportunities to share their passion for running and healthy living, transforming their stay into a revitalizing experience for both body and soul.”
