The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort already successfully open for two years, has become a popular beach side resort in South China – offering high-end tourists a new chapter in luxury experience.
A veteran hotelier with more than 27 years’ experience, Anne Scott is well-versed in the Starwood brand of superior service and commitment to guest comfort. She will lead the hotel team to exemplify contemporary elegance and tropical perfection in South China.

Raised in Scotland, Anne Scott graduated from University in Edinburgh and joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts operation department in the early of Starwood established. She moved fully into Human Resources in 1993 and in 1997 she was appointed Area DOHR role in Starwood for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
In 2001, she was the Regional VP HR for Marriott Middle East, UK, Africa. Then she returned to hotel operations as the Hotel Manager of The Park Tower, Knightsbridge, London (A Luxury Collection). In 2008 Anne relocated to Asia and was the opening General Manager of Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort. She comes to the St. Regis after several years as General Manager at The Andaman, A Luxury Collection Resort, Langkawi, Malaysia. During her career, she has won many awards for her achievement and outstanding performance, including “Asia’s Leading Woman in Hospitality” in 2011, awarded by the Women in Leadership Forum.
