Hainan’s forest tourism areas receive over 550,000 tourists

Since the establishment of Jianfengling National Forest Park in 1992 which is the first of its kind in our province, Hainan forest tourism has achieved significant development. More then 550,000 tourists are received in accumulation and the tourism income is about RMB1,500,000,000.
 
Presently eight national and three provincial level forest parks have been set up in succession through the province. A batch of famous forest scenic areas, such as Yanuoda Rainforest Culture Tourism Area, Yalong Bay Forest Park, Xinglong Tropical Garden, have been created. Over the past two years, Hainan’s forest tourism showed small eruption trend. The accumulated income for all forest tourism areas in Hainan Province is about RMB1,500,000,000, among which RMB600,000,000 was achieved in the last year.
