Hainan Airlines to launch new service from Beijing to Boston next year
Hainan Airlines is planning a new service from Beijing to Boston next year.
The carrier, the fourth largest in China, hopes to launch a four-times weekly flight in the second half of 2014.
It plans to operate a B787 Dreamliner on the route and the planned service is subject to regulatory approval in the US.
The news comes after the airline delayed its B787 service to Chicago to November 26.
The airline launched twice-weekly service to O’Hare in September, operating an A340. It plans to up the Chicago flights to four times weekly in December and daily by June next year.
