Basic bus fare in Sanya to be increased to RMB2 from Sep 11th
According to Sanya Price Bureau, the Sanya all-in-one card will be put into operation on all buses and the basic bus fare is to be increased to 2 yuan per person on September 11th. All-in-one card holders enjoy a 30% discount compared to the normal cash fare.
The basic bus fare is suitable for the bus routes in Downtown Sanya, which generally start at the Sanya Bus Station in Jiefang Road, and stretch from Yulin Market in the east to Lvhaitianyuan Community and Minhang stop in the west, and from Nanbianhai Community and Luhuitou Park in the south to the Sanya Railway Station and Sanya Technical School in the north.
Besides, the bus fare for the long-distance bus routes away from the city centre will be determined by several factors including distance, the type of bus and the number of stops.
The detailed implementation plan of the bus fare for all bus routes will be released to the public on the Bureau’s official website http://wj.sanya.gov.cn (in Chinese).
