Yingli Green Energy’s 100 MW solar project to be completed in Hainan
Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), a leading solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, which markets its products under the brand "Yingli Solar", Saturday announced that the Company has become an Official Premium Partner of FC Bayern Munchen ("FCB"), one of the most successful and popular football clubs in the world.
The announcement was made during a joint press conference at the Allianz Arena, home to FCB, before the match against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Journalists from all over the world attended the event. Dr. Jason Liu, Vice President of Yingli Green Energy and Mr. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Chairman of the Executive Board of FCB, warmly welcomed the new partnership and addressed the media.
Yingli Green Energy's sponsorship agreement as an Official Premium Partner in the renewable energy business sector commences season 2010/2011 (2nd leg) and continues until the end of 2013/14 season. The Company is granted a series of marketing rights, including ticketing and hospitality, advertising and media/public relations as well as the right to market and sell its solar products in the official FCB fan shops.
