Hainan Airlines officially launched a Dalian to Seattle chartered flight on December 28, 2012. It is the first America-bound flight from the northeast area of China, reports China Daily.

Operating using Air Bus A330 aircraft, flight HU495 will depart from Dalian at 12:30 every Monday and Friday, and arrive in Seattle at 11:05 every Tuesday and Saturday.

The return flight is scheduled to take off from Seattle at 13:00 every Tuesday and Saturday, and will arrive in Dalian at 20:55 every Wednesday and Sunday.

Seattle is a major coastal seaport in the U.S. state of Washington. The Dalian-Seattle flight will be of benefit to the tourism development between China and America as well as economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.
