Andrew Steele named as Managing Director of MGM Grand Sanya
Mr. Andrew Steele
Aged 44, Mr. Andrew Steele is an Australian national and graduated from Ecole Hotelier SSH, Les Roches Bluceh, Switzerland. His career path has taken him to Switzerland, Hong Kong, China, England, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. Mr. Steele brings with him more than 20 years of hospitality experience with a number of renowned international luxury hotel groups such Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Mandarin Oriental and Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts where he held several key hotel positions for 13 years. During Mr. Steele’s tenure with Shangri-La, he was involved in special projects and was instrumental to the company’s growth in China. Prior to joining MGM Grand Sanya, Mr. Steele was the General Manager for Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa in Malaysia.
