More than 500,000 spectators are expected to line both sides of the Victoria Harbor for Hong Kong's fireworks on Feb. 4, a must-see to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Rabbit, the authorities said on Jan. 18.
 
More than 30,000 pyrotechnic shells will be fired from four barges in the Lunar New Year fireworks display on Feb. 4, to ring in the Year of the Rabbit.
 
Sponsored by the Hongkong Hainan Commercial Association, the 23-minute show will start at 08:00 p.m. local time over Victoria Harbor, consisting of eight scenes. Highlights will include rabbit- shaped fireworks, the figure "2011" and fireworks depicting smiling faces.
 
Other special scenes will feature fireworks in the shape of coconut trees and the phrase "I love HK".
