Hard Rock Hotel Haikou to open in Mission Hills resort in 2015
Orlando-based Hard Rock Cafe International said Monday it is opening two Hard Rock Hotels in China in collaboration with Mission Hills Group Ltd., a Hong Kong-based operator of resorts, hotels and golf clubs.
The 280-room Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen and 250-room Hard Rock Hotel Haikou — the company’s first hotels in China — are scheduled to open in Mission Hills resorts in 2015.
"We couldn’t ask for a better partner than Mission Hills and are excited to share Hard Rock Hotel’s unique style and attitude with a Chinese population thirsting for new entertainment experiences," said Hamish Dodds, Hard Rock’s president and chief executive officer.
Hard Rock, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, has 179 venues in 54 countries, including 140 Hard Rock Cafes and 18 hotels or hotel-casinos.
