From August 15, which sees the opening of the Guangzhou-Route air express service by China Southern Airlines, passengers leaving from cities in Europe and Australia can enjoy a convenient new route to Hainan Island.

The step marks a milestone in China Southern’s development in the international marketplace. Meanwhile, it will provide the air convenience for Hainan to expand its international tourist markets.

At present, Southern Airlines has more than 32 flights between Hainan and Guangzhou per day. The number of passengers who use this route to Hainan resorts exceeds ten thousand every month.

In the new winter and spring flight season, the company will intensify its flight frequencies to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It plans to have 110 flights a week going to Australian cities by the end of 2015.

In European regions, the company is stepping up its ambitious plans with more services of its Guangzhou–London flight.
