Hainan Airlines launches 4 weekly services between Beijing and Bangkok
On 13 July, Hainan Airlines increased its offering to Thailand as it launched four weekly services between the capitals of China and Thailand; Beijing (PEK) and Bangkok (BKK).
The airline already serves the Thai capital from Hangzhou and Nanning. Flights on the new 3,300-kilometre route are operated with 737-800s.
The airline will face competition from Thai Airways (11 weekly frequencies), Air China and SriLankan Airlines (each daily flights). Bangkok is the second Thai destination after Phuket to be offered by Hainan Airlines from Beijing.
