VanceInfo Technologies Inc, the first Chinese software development outsourcer listed on the New York Stock Exchange, on Jan. 11 said it has begun building an outsourced development center or ODC in Beijing with HNA Tourism Holding (Group) Co Ltd, a unit of China’s HNA Group.

Yu Yanbing, chief information officer of HNA Tourism, said the ODC is expected to offer sophisticated technologies, including clouding computing, to enhance its service model and increase efficiency levels for market expansion.

HNA Group, the parent company of China’s largest non-state owned airline Hainan Airlines Co Ltd<600221><900945>, has been expanding its businesses from air transportation to financial services, logistics and tourism. Its services cover all the key elements of tourism, including catering, lodging, traveling and shopping, sources reported.

VanceInfo Technologies, a provider of information technology services and an offshore software development company in China, principally offers services of such kind to companies headquartered in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Greater China.
