Hainan Airlines is set to launch direct flights between Haikou and Singapore on September 25, giving a new boost to tourism cooperation between the two tourist cities, reports xinhuanet.com.
 
The airline company will offer four non-stop flights to Singapore weekly by using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The direct flights will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
 
Initial outbound flights leaving from Haikou Meilan International Airport will depart at 9:00 am and arriving at Singapore Changi International Airport at 12:20 pm. Flights leaving Singapore will depart at 13:20 pm and arriving in Haikou at 16:30 pm.
 
Meanwhile, Changi International Airport is one of the top transit airports in Asia and the new flight means that passengers can transfer to flights from the airport to Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Perth and other 46 cities in Southeast Asia and Australia.
