Hainan Airlines is set to launch a new regular non-stop flight from Haikou to Singapore on September 25 in an aim of improving the international air route network to the island, reports xinhuanet.com.
It is the second international flight launched by Hainan Airlines this year, following the opening of the Dalian-Hefei-Singapore service in August 2010.
The flights will be operated four times a week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flights will depart every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with travel time of about three hours and 20 minutes.
At present, Hainan has seen a substantial increase in the number of Singapore tourists as more Singapore investors began to cast their eyes on this international tourism island.
