Hilton Worldwide has signed three management agreements with New Huadu Industrial Group — for a Waldorf Astoria-branded resort and a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Hainan, and for a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Hunan.

Scheduled to open between 2013 and 2014, Waldorf Astoria Hainan Baoting Resort, Hilton Hainan Baoting Resort, and Hilton Changsha East will add another 930 hotel rooms to Hilton Worldwide’s pipeline in China.

According to Christopher J. Nassetta, the president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide, Hilton Worldwide has a total of 17 operating hotels, with more than 70 properties in various stages of development in China, and aims to expand its presence to more than 100 operating hotels in five years’ time. He added that with its diversified business model, strong financial backing, and expertise in real estate development and management, New Huadu Industrial Group is an excellent and strategic business partner for Hilton Worldwide.

Waldorf Astoria Hainan Baoting Resort and Hilton Hainan Baoting Resort are located 10 kilometers from the center of Baocheng Town in Baoting Country. Both properties are situated between Qixianliang and Qixiangling Reservoir in the midst of Hainan Island’s lush rainforest, and overlooking the "Seven-Finger Mountain".

Waldorf Astoria Hainan Baoting Resort will have 100 luxury villas, while Hilton Hainan Baoting Resort will have 350 rooms comprising of low-rise wings and villas.

The 480-room Hilton Changsha East is located in the eastern area of Changsha City where the new Central Business District of Changsha, Wu Guang New Town, will be situated. Adjacent to Changsha Lituo Airport Expressway in Yuhua District, the hotel has easy access to major expressways, is a 10-minute drive from the Changsha city center, five minutes from the Wuhan to Guangzhou High-speed Railway Station and 15 minutes from Huanghua International Airport.
