Hainan Airlines recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Telecom, the country’s third largest telecom operator, to offer in-flight Internet services.

Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in air ticket services, mobile check-in, call center services, and in-flight phone call services.

The partnership will enable Hainan Airlines to become the country’s first carrier to offer phone call and Internet access services during flight.

Other areas of cooperation between the two parties include hotel management and financial services.
