in Sanya Nanshan scenic spot was beaten up by local tourists.
A Chinese female tour guide was beaten up by local tourists after a heated argument at a cable car station.
The woman ended up with a bloody mouth, tooth dislocation, and slight concussion, reported Shin Min.
Zhang Xuan, who has been in the travel industry for 5 years, was leading a Singapore tour group to China for tours at Sanya, Nanshan scenic spot when the incident happened.
The tour group, consisting of 16 seniors, were queuing up for the cable car ride when 7 local men, apparently from Jiangsu, tried to get in front of the group.
When Zhang told them off for their actions, the confrontation turned ugly and some of the men threw punches and kicks at Zhang, causing her to bleed from her mouth.
Zhang also retaliated and hit one of them in the forehead.
Police later arrived at the scene to stop fight. Two people who were injured in the brawl were sent to a nearby hospital.
