Hainan Airlines
 
With the first flight arriving on Thursday 20 January, Hainan Airlines will fly an A330 three times a week between Sydney and Shenzhen and Hangzhou, China.

Hainan’s extensive international network across Asia and its domestic network across China can now be accessed via this service.

"I am delighted to announce the commencement of our service to Sydney from Shenzhen. It is a great opportunity to expand our international operation by entering Sydney as the gateway to Australia. We would like to work very closely with Sydney Airport in future and further strengthen the relationship between Australia and China in the tourism industry," said Wei Hou, CMO Hainan Airlines.

The Hon Jodi McKay, NSW Minister for Tourism, Wen Zhang, deputy mayor city of Shenzhen, Wei Hou, CMO Hainan Airlines and Russell Balding, CEO Sydney Airport will be in attendance at Sydney Airport on the 20 January to celebrate the inaugural flight.
