Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of its first luxury Conrad property in Mainland China, alongside a Doubletree Resort by Hilton in picturesque Haitang Bay in Sanya, Hainan Island. This Doubletree property is Hilton Worldwide’s sixth Doubletree in China. The magnificent Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay and the contemporary Doubletree Resort by Hilton Sanya Haitang Bay are the first hotels to open in Haitang Bay, the newest resort area to be developed on the southern tip of Hainan Island, known as China’s "tropical paradise".

1. Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay

Distinguished by its contemporary architecture inspired by the French Riviera style, the 101 luxurious villas and rooms at Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay overlook the blue ocean, lagoons or gardens. Each villa has a private pool, sun lounger, cabana, and is surrounded by lush foliage for privacy. Guests also enjoy additional access to two large outdoor common pools.

The property has four restaurants and bars – the all-day dining restaurant Teatro offers the best in international cuisine as well as Asian and Western dishes from an open kitchen; La Chine serves contemporary Hainan and Cantonese cuisine in a luxurious setting while Senses, the specialty restaurant features seafood fresh from the warm local tropical waters. The relaxing Vue Lounge offers an alfresco setting with panoramic ocean views and is the ideal place to enjoy an afternoon tea or exotic evening cocktails.

An extensive range of recreation facilities ensures an unforgettable experience at this luxurious resort. Guests can head straight to the 435-meter white sandy beach or just relax by the two stunning outdoor swimming pools. Doubletree Resort by Hilton Sanya Haitang Bay offers 463 spacious rooms in contemporary low-rise buildings, all of which are conveniently located right next to Haitang Bay’s pristine, natural tropical beach. Each guest room provides unparalleled views of the warm turquoise ocean, gorgeous sandy beach or lush green tropical gardens. All guests are assured of convenient beach access for a truly relaxing beach holiday experience.

Guests can choose from eight room categories consisting 96 Ocean View rooms, 127 Grand Ocean View rooms, 44 Lagoon Access rooms and 16 Lifestyle Beachfront Suites. In addition to a fully stocked mini-bar and coffee and tea making facilities, each room features a private balcony, bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, LCD flat screen TV with satellite channels, international direct dial telephone and high speed internet access. A king-size bed or two queen-size beds are available for ultimate sleep comfort.


The hotel provides dedicated 24-hour room service including laundry and valet services. Non-allergenic pillows, bed boards and baby cots are also available upon request.
