Diaoluoshan National Rainforest Park, Hainan
Located in the southeast of Hainan Island, Diaoluoshan National Rainforest Park (吊罗山国家森林公园) covers a surface area of 38,000ha. It enjoys very convenient traffic, only 20km from Lingshui exit of Hainan Eastern Expressway, 217km from Haikou, and 90km from Sanya.
Diaoluoshan is one of China’s rare primary tropical rainforest, boasting unique scenery with beautiful waters, precipitous peaks, wonderful waterfalls, ancient trees, precious flowers, deep grottoes and strange rocks. Among more than 100 waterfalls, the spectacular Fengguoshu Waterfalls rank first in Hainan with a fall of 350m. In addition, there are Hainan Miao’s village and memorial site. The climate is very pleasant here, with annual mean temperature at 23°C.
The picturesque landscape, pleasant weather, and distinctive folk custom make the park a perfect destination for leisure, vacation, health care, recuperation and adventure.
