Igor Macchia of La Credenza Restaurant is Sanya Mandarin Oriental’s guest chef
Fond of travelling and relishing the opportunity to blend different cultural elements into his repertoire, this year Chef Macchia has decided to bring his exceptional flavours to discerning guests enjoying the resort during the Chinese National Day holiday.
Creating a distinctive and contemporary form of Italian cooking, Chef Macchia transforms products, flavours and methods by the science applied to gastronomy, resulting in a compelling cuisine that has a strikingly modern identity, but which still retains a classical Italian spirit. Some of the eclectic highlights Chef Macchia will be showcasing during his time at the luxury resort include Coffee Marinated Lamb and Agnolotti with Hazelnut Oil and Grana Padano Cheese.
