Hainan Pavilion at Shanghai Expo
 
During the to-be-held Hainan Activity Week of Shanghai Expo, Hainan Province will hold a series of tourism promotions of Hainan International Tourism Destination Promotion Conference, seminars, picture & product exhibitions, large-scale outdoor plaza shows, etc.. There will be wonderful performances during the three-day large-scale outdoor plaza shows holding in Century Plaza in Nanjing Road, Shanghai. Chen Chusheng, Image Ambassador of Sanya City, will present in the outdoor show on the evening of August 11 to promote this city.

Relevant principals of Hainan Provincial Tourism Bureau said on August 2 that the International Tourism Destination seminar, specific promotion conference and picture exhibition will be held in Shanghai Hyatt on Bund on August 8, among which the specific promotion conference will introduce relevant policies and development planning of Hainan International Tourism Destination and promote highlight tour itineraries and products to fully propagandize and demonstrate the charm of Hainan International Tourism Destination and further extend the tourist source markets in the Yangtze River delta region.

The seminar will invite experts and scholars in and out of Hainan Province to discuss the subject of "how to have Hainan built as a world class destination for leisure and resort" and learn & draw lessons from advanced experience and successful practice of other regions in tourism economic development to accelerate the promotion of construction of Hainan International Tourism Destination.

Tourism enterprises from Hainan Province will demonstrate their products and dispense promotional materials in Century Plaza in Nanjing Road, Shanghai. On the site there will have coconuts and tropical fruits for citizens and tourists. Meanwhile large-scale outdoor plaza show promotion conference will be held.

The Hainan Tourism Industry Union Night with name of Sunny Hainan, Holiday Paradise will be held on the night of August 9 by Hainan Provincial Tourism Bureau to present a panorama of new cultural glamour of International Tourism Destination by performing original but modern & fashionable Hainan featured songs and dances, combining characteristics of each industry association and carrying out on-site interactivities and experience feeling through resource integration. On the night of August 10, the outdoor show promotion conference of Haikou City Night with the theme of Sunny Haikou, Entertainment Capital, Taste City will be held then. While the outdoor show promotion conference of Sanya City Night with the theme of Beautiful Sanya, Refreshing Summer will be held on the night of August 11.

There will be lucky draws with the total award value of RMB 100,000 during the three-day outdoor shows.
