Haikou Meilan International Airport
 
Haikou Meilan International Airport is a garden-style international airport constructed as per the 4E standard and is one of China’s eight largest airports. The airport covers a land of 583 hectares in a beautiful environment. The airport has good facilities, provides efficient service and keeps an exceptional safety record. The airport is equipped with advanced communication and navigation system, enabling B747-400 jumbos to land to take off at the airport. The airport can handle up to 10 million passengers annually with the peak rate reaching 4,100 passengers per hour.

In June 2003, after the opening of aviation rights in Hainan was approved by CAAC, Hainan Meilan International Airport began to take measures aimed at enhancing the development of both the hardware and software. In recent years, the airport has been awarded with many honors and prizes, including Star-rated Team To Satisfaction of Civil Aviation Clients, Enterprise with Trust & Credibility, Best Newly Constructed Airport, Civil Aviation Service Provider Recognized by Passengers, Sanitary International Airport and "Window of Civil Aviation Safety and Hainan Civilization, Role Model for Cliental Satisfaction and Business Management", etc.
