Sanya Phoenix International Airport
 
Sanya Phoenix International Airport is the most beautiful international airport with a tropical beach garden style constructed as per the 4E standard. The airport covers a land of 463 hectares in a beautiful environment and with a charming landscape. The airport is equipped with Class-A precision lighting facilities and with advanced communication and navigation systems, enabling B747-400 jumbos to land to take off at the airport. The airport can handle up to 6.25 million passengers annually with the peak rate reaching 2,800 to 3,000 passengers per hour.

In June 2003, after the opening of aviation rights in Hainan was approved by CAAC, Sanya Phoenix International Airport began to enhance the hardware development as well as further improving the service. In recent years, the airport has received numerous honors and prizes, such as Award for Cliental Satisfaction, Award for Exceptional Airport Ground Service, etc.
