Sanya Phoenix International Airport

Sanya’s Phoenix International Airport has direct flights to all major cities and regions in China.

The airport is a short 20 minute drive from the city centre (11 km), about 40 minutes from Yalong Bay (亚龙湾) and about 60 minutes from Haitang Bay(海棠湾).

In addition, there is a high speed rail service from Sanya Station (10 minutes from airport) to Haikou’s Meilan International Airport (¥80 -¥95 / 2 hours) which provides connections to Singapore and Bangkok.

A new expressway allows speedy access to destinations beyond the city of Sanya such as Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay as well as resorts and towns further north along the east coast.

Both Sanya and Haikou’s airports have websites that can provide up to the minute arrival and departure information, as well as other useful information.
