There are 24 golf clubs on the whole Hainan island: 8 in Sanya, 11in Haikou , 2 in Boao Area, 2 in Xing Long, and one in Baoting County.

2). Sun Valley Golf Club

Located in Yalong Bay,  Sun Valley Golf Club is the only one Par 6 in China with 25 minutes driving to Sanya Phoenix International Airport, 15minutes drive to the downtown.
 
The grass on the course have Hawaii grass and Eagle grass.Probably one of the most challenging holes on the course is the 18th measuring 828 yards off the back tee, which is the only one par 6 hole in China! The course is quite a tough test and the greens are huge (from 950M2 to 1,100M2).
 
The club covers an area of 1500 hectares, costs RMB20 billions. Nearby attractions have Butterfly Park, Seashell Museum and Yalong Bay Central Square. All the famous star ranked hotels are within five minutes’ drive. Suffice to say that you”ll enjoy both the quality of the course and the lovely setting. Their main facilities have Chinese/Western A la carte and set menu, club bar, sauna, billiard, pro-shop and driving range.
