Here’s a look at some of the biggest and expensive projects in China.

 

Hainan Wenchang Space Centre

The Hainan Space Launch Centre located in Wenchang, Hainan island, is the fourth space launch facility in China

The construction of the $12 billion launch centre began in 2009 and is expected to complete by 2013.

The centre will launch satellites and unmanned spacecraft for all domestic and commercial operations.
