Phoenix Island becomes a focused rising star. It is a man-made island located at the amazing Sanya Bay. It is planned to be a Chinese version of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

 

Currently, there have been 3 world-class cruise ships including Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Star Cruises (renamed to be Genting Hong Kong in 2009) stop in Sanya on their itineraries.

 

The developing Phoenix Island has already opened up navigation in its 100 thousand-ton luxurious international cruise port, and the 60 thousand-ton and 250 thousand-ton international ports are planned to be constructed, which will become one of the top ten global cruise homeports in the world.

 

It is reported that there’re only 400 registered yachts in Sanya, so the potential market is huge and favorable.
