Miao Village to be constructed in Sanya’s Qianguqing resort
A Miao Village is to be built in Sanya’s Qianguqing resort, according to reports.
According to the plans, the Miao Village will be constructed with prominent Miao ethnic elements.
Performances including Miao Folk dances, music and acrobatics will be put on for visitors regularly after the Miao Village is put into operation.
"The real Miao villages in Hainan are located in remote mountains. Tourists are rarely able to visit them due to the distances involved. The opening of the Miao Village in Qianguqing resort will allow tourists to experience the real traditional Miao ethnic culture from within their resort.” said Huang Qiaoling, head director of the Qianguqing resort.
