A Sanya tourism promotional delegation launched a tourism promotional campaign in Denmark on 5th August local time, following their last stop in Sweden, according to reports.

Led by the party secretary of Sanya Municipal Government Jiang Sixian, the tourism promotional delegation kicked off the campaign in Copenhagen with a photo exhibition which shows off Sanya’s rich tourism resources including attractive beaches, tourism resorts, golf, yachting, and cruise tourism.

During the event, Jiang Sixian introduced several uniquely Asian tourism products and services and highlighted tourism packages including family holidays, honeymoon holidays and healthcare holidays.

Cultural mayor of Copenhagen City Ms.Pie Allerslev, president of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Denmark, Ms.Karin GertNielsen, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Denmark Xu Yong and representatives from Denmark’s tourism industry attended the event.

Ms.Karin GertNielsen said that the PATA was willing to make use of its international tourism network to help Sanya develop the tourism market in Northern Europe and that he hoped chartered flights would be opened between Copenhagen and Sanya.
