The detailed tourism development plan for Sanya’s Zhuluoling Zone was approved for implementation on March 5, 2013.

Located 25 kilometers outside Sanya’s downtown center, Zhuluoling Zone has easy access to Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay. The project is part of a major push for construction in the Haitang Bay National Coast.

According to the detailed plan, the region will be divided into three core sections, including the tourism resort zone, mountain sports zone and RV campsite zone.

With a total area of about 126.63 hectares, the tourism project combines accommodation, leisure, sports, shopping, catering and entertainment featuring motels, a car camping park, a mountain sports park, a waterfront park, 2 gas & oil stations, a kindergarten, neighborhood committees and a community health center.
 
The project’s construction is divided into two phases and is expected to be completed in 2020.
