On Feb.10, the first day of Chinese New Year, Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone has embraced its first travel peak during the week-long holiday period and witnessed the arrivals of  37,800 tourists, up 7.69% from the same period of last year.

 

As the holy land for praying, Nanshan attracts many tourists to pray for good fortune on the first day of every Spring Festival.

 

On the first day of this Spring Festival, Tianyahaijiao Scenic Spot received 15,500 visitors, down 0.64% compared with last year, Daxiaodongtian Park received 5,200 visitors, up 18.25% from last year, Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park received 9,000 visitors, up 28.57% from last year, West Islet received 1,300 visitors, down 11.85% from last year and Wuzhizhou Islet received 6,100 visitors, up 17.33% from last year.

 

On Feb.9 alone, 323 flights departed from and arrived to Sanya Phoenix International Airport, an increase of 4.9% compared to last year, with a total of passenger throughput of 48,115, up 16.4% from last year.

 

At the same day, 18,180 and 10,841 passengers arrived at and departed from Sanya Railway Station respectively.
